David is a Registered Energy Advisor and Red Seal Carpenter whose rare combination of construction experience and building science knowledge makes him a uniquely grounded member of the BKC team. After graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College's Sustainable Building Design and Construction program, he spent years working alongside high-performance builders before founding his own energy advisory practice.

With more than seven years of experience as an active Energy Advisor, David has supported projects across natural building, net zero consulting, energy modelling, and field verification. His work spans a range of residential programs, including EnerGuide, ENERGY STAR®, and Net Zero, helping clients navigate the full journey from integrated design to final verification. Bringing both a builder's instinct and an advisor's eye to his work, David is committed to delivering practical, high performance solutions while helping to mentor the next generation of energy professionals.
